The primary purpose of the role is to understand business requirements for data extracts in order to produce ad-hoc reports to provide accurate and timely information in the support of the property maintenance function. The Data Analyst will be expected to fulfil tasks in support of the business functions as requested and manage these tasks alongside scheduled work.
The Data Analyst will be responsible for:-
? the maintenance of reference data within the property maintenance system
? reconciliation and reporting from the property maintenance systems which consist of SQL Server based systems and data stores of spreadsheet collated data.
? the reconciliation of property maintenance data with other systems, including financial systems
? ownership, and ongoing maintenance of, a library of commonly run extracts and reports
? maintenance of a user facing index of available reports and recognise when incoming requests can be serviced with pre-prepared queries.
The candidate will have extensive experience of data mining, data migration and reporting, with clearly evident experience of data manipulation using MS SQL Server, SSIS and Excel based VBA. The candidate will have been engaged in data focused roles using these technologies and techniques for at least the past three years. The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling them to work efficiently and effectively with non-technical personnel.

? Advanced Excel skills
? High level of attention to detail
? Capable of working under pressure to challenging deadlines
? Excellent business communications to operational, management and board level requestors
? Experience working with sensitive data and awareness of data security responsibilities
