Family Dollar names new chief marketing officer - Charlotte Observer

Matthews-based Family Dollar has named Jocelyn Wong, a former Safeway executive, its new chief marketing officer, the company said Monday.

Wong began her career at Procter & Gamble, Family Dollar said in a statement. She was most recently group vice president of shopper marketing for Safeway.

She?ll report to Family Dollar president Mike Bloom, who joined the company last year from CVS.
